How to prepare for ITEE Examination

The Information Technology Engineers Examination (ITEE) is a set of vendor neutral international IT examinations held in multiple Asian countries. These examinations are held by the government of each participating country as their national IT certification through the international IT Professionals Examination Council (ITPEC).

The examination has multiple levels:

  • Level 1: IT Passport Examination (IP)
  • Level 2: Fundamental IT Engineer Examination (FE)
  • Level 3: Applied IT Engineer Examination (AP)
  • Level 4: Advanced Examination (AE)

In Bangladesh, level 1 and level 2 exams are organized by Bangladesh IT Examination Council (BDITEC) under Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), Bangladesh Government.

Syllabus:

The exam has no negative marking. Level 1 and 2 have multiple choice questions (MCQ) only. The level 2 (FE) exam has two parts: subject A) morning, subject B) afternoon. Regardless of the performance in the morning exam/subject A, please still attend the afternoon exam/subject B in full. Passing in any part, will help in attending the remaining part during the next two times if required. The exam is held two times a year. Dates and past questions are available at the ITPEC website: https://itpec.org/

I would recommend starting to practice with Bismillah from the past few exam questions:

Good support is available via the Facebook group, ITEE FE(level-2) Candidate only: https://www.facebook.com/groups/itee.fe

Anybody posting a question or its picture there usually gets quick responses. It is a good place to network with past passers as well. Its files sections have some practice materials too: https://www.facebook.com/groups/itee.fe/files/files

Registration and preparation/practice books are at https://registration.bditec.gov.bd/

Free training/e-learning materials are available at Lightboat: https://lightboat.lightworks.co.jp/en-promotion

In-person trainings are organized by BCC in some universities and sometimes at BCC almost every year around the registration month.
